FUL INAUGURATES COMMITTEE ON STAFF VERIFICATION AND PLACEMENT The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Angela Freeman Miri has inaugurated the Committee on Staff Verification and Placement on 17th May, 2016 in her Committee Room. The Committee which is chaired by the University Librarian, Ezra Shiloba Gbaje (Ph.D), has since swung into action as the exercise has commenced on Monday 23rd May, 2016 at the Council Chamber. All staff of the University are expected to participate in the ongoing exercise.

FUL INAUGURATES COMMITTEES TO MOVE THE VARSITY FORWARD The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, Professor Angela Freeman Miri, has recently inaugurated eight (8) standing committees to move the University forward. The Committees are: 1. The Reconstituted Management Committee; 2. Committee of Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments; 3. Convocation Planning Committee; 4. Resource Mobilization Committee; 5. Committee on Development of Permanent Site; 6. Committee on New Faculties and Programmes; 7. Library Development Committee and 8. Sports Development Committee. The Vice-Chancellor charged members of each of the Committees to be focused and hit the ground running which indicates hard work, dedication and commitment to results geared towards realizing the vision and aspiration of the new Management of the University. Below are picture highlights of some recent events in Federal University Lokoja, highlighting the arrival of the new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Angela Freeman Miri who was warmly received and ushered in by some top members of the University community at the Adankolo Campus on 25th February, 2016. Also contained in the images is the arrival of the 2nd Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Professor Nimi Dimkpa Briggs (OON) who was newly appointed by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Professor Briggs was received at the Adankolo Campus on 9th March, 2016 by the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Deans, Heads of Departments, Heads of Units and other members of staff. The Vice-Chancellor, on assumption of duty embarked on visitations and tours of the Permanent site and Adankolo Campus of the University as seen in some of the pictures.
