STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, JUNE 26, 2016 SPIRITUAL RIGHT TO EXERT AUTHORITY Audio Version/YBP Audio Bible:http://bit.ly/28UY5KF 1 John 2:3 3 Now by this we know that we have come to know God: if we keep his commandments.[NET] Orji wondered why he would pray, fast, and still struggle to cast out a demon that Emaka wouldn’t even need to strain his voice to cast out. He came to realize that the reason for his little spiritual authority was because he wasn’t properly aligned to Christ authority. When you read a Bible verse like today's main text, you may wonder why in the New Testament, so much emphasis is still made on commandments. 'Are we not now under grace and no more under the law?' Yes, we are under grace, but being under grace does not mean being lawless. It means the grace of God empowers us to obey God's law that He has now written upon our hearts because of the new covenant (see Heb 10:16). What this means is that a Christian is someone who is under God's authority. He is not a 'free moral agent' but is under the absolute authority of the Lord Jesus. Any man that is not living under authority has no spiritual right to exert authority. The devil can now only exert authority over members of his household. All authority has been given to our Lord, and there is no more authority left. If you must exert spiritual authority, that authority must be this same authority that the Lord has. You cannot exert this authority if you are not operating under it. This is the real reason why demons do not respect some Christians. Demons do not respect people who have not actively aligned with the only spiritual authority that can cast them out. You align with this authority by living your life under the authority of Christ. Go into today asking the Lord to help you properly align under His authority (read 1 Pet 5:6). -Pastor SD Abraham *Free Audio Sermons*: http://bit.ly/1t0PDMd YBP: Luke 13-14 WhatsApp: +2348034420524 | BBM: 58FC6299 streamglobedevotional.com

STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL _FRIDAY, JUNE 24, 2016_ RECEIVING THE GOSPEL Audio Version/YBP Audio Bible:http://bit.ly/28SPGZ6 1 Corinthians 15:1[KJV] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand The work of Salvation is done through the Holy Spirit from start to finish. Our primary duty in this process as believers is to preach the gospel. We have very little control over whether the hearer receives our message or not. Of course, we can make ourselves more acceptable and make our message more presentable. Just as the Holy Spirit works through the believer to preach, He works in the unbeliever to receive. Receiving the gospel begins from hearing. When a believer attempts to preach the gospel, he should at least, make the unbeliever hear (See Rom 10:14). The decision to listen and receive is not in the hand of the preacher but the hearer. See how the Lord Himself puts it in Mat 10:14 '... whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet'. What the preacher can do is to pray that the Holy Spirit does His work in them so they can receive the gospel. To receive the gospel is to believe that Jesus Christ, the only begotten of the Father, is Savior and Lord. (See John1:12). Go into today with the decision to preach the gospel to someone. Pray for that person in advance. Prayer: Lord, open the hearts of the unsaved all over the world to the gospel of Your salvation. Amen. - Pastor Adeolu Olumodeji YBP: Psalms 69-71 Kindly share this Interdenominational Devotional with your contacts and let’s touch lives together. STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL _THURSDAY, JUNE 23, 2016_ JESUS OUR ADVOCATE *Audio Version/ YBP Audio Bible*: http://bit.ly/28ObPli 1 John 2:[NET] (My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.) But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous One God's will for every Christian is that we sin not. He gives us His word, so that through them, grace is imparted into our spirits. When we receive the words God sends to us through His servants, we receive grace that empowers us not to sin. In the case of the original people to whom Apostle John wrote the above Bible text, he gave them certain teachings to establish their faith and their righteousness. Note that there are two most necessary things that protect our spirits from spiritual attacks. The first is the breastplate of righteousness; the second is the shield of faith. Righteousness gets its standards from truth: the belt of truth (See Eph 6:14,16). When we let the righteousness of God guide our thought processes, it would be impossible for the devil to use his most sophisticated weapon against our spirits. That weapon is called guilt. When we let faith fill our hearts, it will be impossible for the devil to use his most dangerous weapon against us. That weapon is called fear. An advocate usually defends us using words and methods that we cannot use. Jesus is our advocate. He speaks for us against the accusations of Satan. He Himself became our sacrifice and took the punishment for our sins. The devil is always trying to get us punished for the sins we commit. But Jesus defends us because he took the punishment already. As you go into today, remember that it is easier for an advocate to defend someone who does not make a habit of intentionally committing a crime. Prayer: Ask the Lord to direct you to His words that will help you grow in faith and grace, in Jesus name. Amen. YBP: Psalms 72-74 You can kindly share this and let’s touch lives together. STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL _WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22, 2016_ PREACH THE GOSPEL *Audio Version/YBP Audio Bible*: http://bit.ly/28LEojN 1 Corinthians 15:1[KJV] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand The gospel of salvation must be preached. Preaching is the medium of delivering the Good News of Redemption to the world. It is the proclamation of our conviction in the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many times, it is confused with teaching. Teaching requires expertise, preaching does not. 1 Cor 1:21 says God saves people through the 'foolishness of preaching'. Teaching draws more from knowledge, preaching from conviction and passion. Every believer is called to preach, teaching is a special calling to the body of Christ. Preaching is what gets unbelievers saved, teaching is what establishes the believer in Christ. Of course, it is difficult to fully separate the two, and it is not to rate one above another. But essentially, preaching is basic and we are encouraged to do it 'in and out of season' (1 Tim 4:2). In fact, Paul said preaching, for him was a 'necessity'. (1 Cor 9:15). If the gospel must spread, every believer should be involved. Find an opportunity to preach the gospel today. Prayer: Lord Jesus, make me a laborer in your harvest that I may be ever willing to preach your good news. Amen. - Pastor Adeolu Olumodeji YBP: I Kings 14-18 Send us a message to start receiving Streamglobe Devotional on your Whatsapp or BBM everyday. STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, JUNE 17, 2016 THE SEED OF ETERNAL LIFE 2 *Devotional Audio Here*: http://bit.ly/1UzlFfB John 12:24-25 (MSG) 24 "Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over. 25 In the same way, anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life. But if you let it go, reckless in your love, you'll have it forever, real and eternal. There was something remarkable about what the women who poured very expensive perfume on the feet of Jesus did (see John 12:3-8). To those who did not have spiritual understanding, it appeared she was wasting her precious resources on the Lord because the perfume was worth a whole year’s wages. It appeared that she was wasting her precious savings on the Lord, but she understood what she was doing and so did the Lord. You see, in the kingdom of God, as you give up your life and resources for the purpose of Christ’s assignment, to those who have no spiritual understanding, it will appear you are wasting your life. But the real secret to gaining true life is giving your life to the Lord. Anyone who holds on to his life will lose it, but he that gives his life for the purpose of the gospel will gain eternal life. Eternal life does not begin to manifest only after the resurrection, it begins to manifest in this present life. Go into today knowing that there is nothing you spend on Jesus that is wasted. You will gain several times more. Prayer: Thank the Lord for giving you this life that you have. Ask the Lord to help you give it to Him and serve Him with it. -Pastor SD Abraham YBP: Proverbs 4 Send us a message to start getting Streamglobe directly: WhatsApp: +2348034420524 | BBM: 58FC6299 streamglobedevotional.com

*STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL* THURSDAY, JUNE 16, 2016 SEED OF ETERNAL LIFE Devotional Audio: http://bit.ly/1WO7VzD _John 12:24-25 (MSG)_ _24 "Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over. 25 In the same way, anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life. But if you let it go, reckless in your love, you'll have it forever, real and eternal._ Seven farmers were given 3 bags of seed each. Five of them were wise; they decided to plant most of their seeds and endure with the little left for food. Two out of the seven did not sow their seeds. They couldn’t let go; they ate most of their seeds that year. The next year, the two farmers who wouldn’t let go were hungry and starving while the five farmers who sowed their seeds had a bountiful harvest and entered enduring abundance. Unfortunately, the few seeds the two farmers had left could no longer grow when planted. This life we have now is the seed for our eternal life. We sow this seed and give it up by giving our lives to Christ and ceasing to live for ourselves anymore. This means we now live for Christ and for His purpose. We present ourselves and all that we are to the Lord. Our visions and dreams are now surrendered to His will and plan. Today’s Bible text shows us that anyone who holds on to this present life will lose it at the end, but anyone who lets it go by giving it to the Lord will gain eternal life. Go into today examining yourself. Are you living for Christ or are you still holding on to this temporary life and living for yourself? Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you live solely for the purpose of Christ and the kingdom. -Pastor SD Abraham. STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, JUNE 12, 2016 TOTAL FREEDOM 2 Devotional/ Bible Audio: http://bit.ly/1S0GVF7 John 8:31-32 (NET) 31 Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him, “If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciples 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Mr. Allen had some mutated dogs that could never grow from being puppies. They were mutated to remain puppies all their lives. But one day, the dogs started a diet that began to annul their mutation. Because of this, they began to steadily grow into adults. But while puppies, Mr. Allen tied each of them with seven strands of knitting wool. And they remained bound that way. But as they started to grow, one day, some of them realized that they could now break free by virtue of their size and increased strength. The wool now seemed like a joke. All they had to do was to simply keep walking and the rope broke. But there were many of them who were still afraid of the power of the threads because as puppies, they had tried to break free to no avail. They were actually now bound by the limitation of the past. And because of this they remained in bondage even though they had enough might to break free. The dogs that got freedom got it because they came to the knowledge of the truth. This truth was that they could now walk away free. If you are a disciple of Christ who follows His teachings, this is the truth concerning you: you have grown out of the power of sin. Sin no longer has power over you because we are now under God’s grace. This grace teaches us the word of God and causes us to grow out of the smallness that made sin dominate us (see Titus 2:8-9). Go into today with this truth. Prayer: Father, please help me grow into the fullness of Christ. STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, JUNE 10, 2016 BLESSING FOOD *Devotional/YBP Audio*: http://bit.ly/1sy3QmF Act 27:35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat. [KJV] When you sit down to eat, don't just shut your eyes momentarily and mutter words unintelligibly like many do thinking to have prayed, but rather give thanks well. Develop the culture of making an unfeigned prayer to God at every opportunity to pray, especially during the so often deemed 'casual prayers' like blessing food and bedtime prayers. Having food to eat is partaking of God's bounty and goodness, therefore be grateful to God. To bless means to give thanks or to pray for a blessing. In blessing our food, we give proper gratitude to God for His provision and pray that it may nourish our bodies. It makes no difference whether you are alone or not, being watched or not, give thanks all the same. Our prayers over food when served in public should not be made concealingly in order to avoid shame. Paul was in full view of those who were not Christians, but he made proper acknowledgment of God, expressed his gratitude for His mercy, and was neither afraid nor ashamed to avow his dependence on Him. Christ, who is our example took delight in giving thanks and blessing food, thus making ordinary meals become special (see Mat 14:17-20). In the same vein, by giving thanks and blessing food, we can make an inadequate meal become sufficient and an imminent food poisoning become an edible nourishment (see 2Kings 4: 39-41 and Mt 16:18). Today, give thanks well to God for the food he has given you and bless it that it may nourish your body. -Pas CE Toviam YBP: Galatians 4-6 WhatsApp: +2348034420524 | BBM: 58FC6299 streamglobedevotional.com You can kindly share this!

STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 2016 THE DOOR AND THE THIEF 2 *Download Devotional Audio plus Audio Bible*: http://bit.ly/25NAP4L John 1:4, 10 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. [KJV] The thief comes not but to steal... He does not come in through the door. Have you ever wondered what it is you have that is so precious to the thief that he seeks to steal it from you? One way to explain the phenomenon called (spiritual) life is by comparing it to electricity. This electricity is what really powers our souls. A person can be full of it or be low on it as in the case of a low battery. When Jesus promises to give us abundant life, He promises us something that even the devil does not have because the devil has been disconnected from the spiritual life source a very long time. He therefore needs to steal. He does dubious trade deals with people in order to get their souls in exchange for temporary worldly wealth (see John 16:26, Rev 18:3). Many are deceived to willingly do this. But ‘What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul.’ Anything the devil does for you, whether directly or indirectly, whether you knowingly enter a deal with him or not, you are allowing him to steal some of your (spiritual) life. It is this life that makes us able to have fellowship with the Father, something that the devil and demons no longer have. Go into today knowing that you have something that the devil wants to steal. Don’t let him steal it. Stay connected to God the Life Source. Prayer: Lord God, I pray you help me keep myself from the thief and teach me to maximize your life within me. Amen. Not yet saved? STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, JUNE 7, 2016 THE DISOBEDIENT SON *Download Devotional/YBP Audio Here*: http://bit.ly/1UblfvN Luke 15:13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. [KJV] Every child at some point has loved something his or her parents did not like. However, parents will correct their children when they are wrong, but will not disown them. As a matter of fact, parents consciously and unconsciously train their children to become like them. A child is therefore a product of the strength and weaknesses of his parents. God, like our earthly parents will not disown us because we do wrong, however, he would correct us until we become like Him. The gravity of the correction may vary from light to heavy. For example, the prodigal son suffered hunger, lack and worked as a servant for a while, Jonah stayed three days in the belly of a fish; Jacob served twenty one years for what God would have given him for free. Do you know that disobedience usually leads to a punishment? Many have achieved little, others lived a short life and so many are struggling without progress because they disobey God. Thankfully, God has kept you alive so you can repent and turn back to Him. If you will turn to God in repentance, He will welcome you with a feast. Go into today knowing that God has not given up on you. You may have missed it, but when you turn back to Him, you will find Him ever ready to welcome you with a feast. Prayer: make a prayer of repentance if you have missed it. Pray for your brothers and sisters who want to return to God. Not yet saved? STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, JUNE 5, 2016 ENSURE PEACE Download Devotional/YBP Audio: http://bit.ly/1U6bejn Jer 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. [KJV] This scripture was God's counsel to the Isrealites when they were exiled to Babylon. And it was very important, because they would be there for seventy years, so their welfare all those years would be tied to the welfare of the nation Babylon. Just as important as this admonition was in those days, so it is in our present day. Yes, we are not of this world, but we are in the world. We are legal citizens and residents of our nation or country. And by that, we are bound by the rules and obligations of the country. Being a Christian doesn’t make us outlaws. 1Pe 2:13 says, be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme. And just as we submit to the government of our nation, we are also to concern ourselves with the welfare of the nation. The Bible says in the peace of the nation we are in, we would have peace. That’s true, because if a nation is at war, the heat also would have an effect on the Christians in the nation. Now, by being citizens of heaven (see Phil 3:20) we ought to leverage on that superior citizenship to be a blessing to the nation we are dwelling in. Knowing that our all powerful father would hear us when we call, we shouldn’t just sit back until things become worse in our country. But, rather at all times, even when all seems to be well, we should pray for our country. We must take our stand and pray. We must push back the agenda of darkness always. Go into today deciding to intensify your prayers for your country. -Pas CE Toviam YBP: I Kings 5-9 Get Free Audio Sermons: http://bit.ly/1t0PDMd Send us a message on WhatsApp to get Streamglobe Devotional text and audio to your whatsapp everyday: +2348034420524 | BBM: 58FC6299

*STREAMGLOBE DEVOTIONAL* SATURDAY, JUNE 4, 2016 THE HOPE OF OUR CALLING *Devotional/YBP Audio*: http://bit.ly/1UBnvv2 Eph 1:18 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints... [KJV] A lot has been said and written about faith and love, but not as much about Hope. We all understand that if a person loses his faith, he has lost his spiritual life. And we also understand that if a person does not have love, it is a sign that he does not have faith in the first place because faith in God would always produce love. Out of the three dominant Christian attributes (faith, hope and love) mentioned in 1 Cor 13:13, hope is the least talked about. It is because of hope that we continue to have faith. One of the most important things God gives to us is hope. He does this by giving us the Holy Spirit who guarantees our inheritance. The Holy Spirit also causes us to experience a foretaste of the things to come. The sad reality today is that many Christians have managed to survive eliminating the hope of our calling from their minds. They do not really look forward to the resurrection of the dead because they have been tricked to focus on this present life and not in the kingdom. They forget that the best this world has to offer is lower than the least thing we get when our bodies have been redeemed into the likeness of Christ. Go into today remembering the hope of your calling into God’s kingdom. God is making sons in the image of Christ. This God’s grand design will be fully actualized when in the resurrection, we are changed to become exactly as Christ is. See 1 John 3:2.
