Bolowotan FC
Description
Bolowotan FC " THE PRIDE OF IKORODU" Bolowotan (BFC) is an indigenous football club based in Ikorodu, Lagos state. The club was incorporated
in 2007 in furtherance of sports, football in particular, through the training and development of indigent
youths with the aim of taking them off the streets and making them responsible citizens by engaging
them in football, a sport that is exceptionally loved.
The segment of the society most prone to engaging in criminal activities is the youths. Hence, their
gainful engagement is critical to the stability of the society and a stable society is essential to the
development of business. BFC provides through young lads, who otherwise will be idle and prone to
engaging in criminal activities, are sheltered and trained in football skills. Their quality of life is improved
and at the same time they are adding value to the community in general and the country at large by
contributing to sports development.
