.. . . Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven_ Acts 1:11
In a word that is no longer gradually but hurriedly drifting away from the old landmark; where abominable and corrupt practices are no longer abhorred by the society but legitimized and even the home values now grossly depreciated, we owe it a duty to make our input towards redirecting man to his source- Christ, ‘For all things were made by Him and without Him was nothing that was made that was made.’ Life without Him is death. In Him we live in Him we move and in Him we have our being. Glory! Legitimizing lesbianism, homosexuality, Same sex marriage and other abominable acts can never quench the thirsting and yearnings of mans’ soul but in Christ, there is fulfillment, in Him all things are complete and in Him, eternity is guaranteed! From all indications, we can see the world is in a hurry to fulfill all the signs of the end-time. To some, all the signs are already fulfilled, to others almost all are fulfilled but for us here, it is evident that the handwriting is already on the wall. What then shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose his own soul? Or is there anything one can plan to give in exchange for his or her dear soul to a Judge that can neither be lobbied nor bribed or influenced? Time is running out! Now is the day of salvation. Behold the bridegroom cometh!
Gazing time is indeed over. It’s time to face the reality and do something that is more expedient than mere ecstasy. The message is wrapped up in a single sentence: ... this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
It beholds on us to now avail ourselves of the grace and justification that is a bye-product of His coming, follow His footsteps as we earnestly long for His second coming so that instead of being part of the gazing crowd at His coming, we would rather be part of the ascending train. What a hope, What a victory, What an abiding home! GLORY!!
