Kaduna State Government saw the need to consolidate the functions of the traditional institutions considering the fact that their contributions in almost every area of human endeavour cannot be under estimated. this lead to the creation of Ministry for Chieftaincy Affairs out of the then Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs on the 4th of September, 2003.
