Join me on Petals FM 102.3 tomorrow as I kick off with the program "Nothing about us without us." My guest on the show tomorrow is Dr. Olapade Agoro. Dr. Agoro is the national chairman of the National Action Council (NAC) and the Atapa of Itapa Ijesha land. I'll be asking Dr. Agoro to share his view on disability, persons with disabilities and issues about them in Nigeria. "Nothing about us without us" is a disability rights program geared at promoting disability inclusion in society. The ideology of oppression against persons with disabilities is reinforced through cultural practices that should and must be demolished.
