We have often allowed our minds to wander as we ascribe names to describe God. We have used our culture and our experiences . We have spoken and acted like the patriarchs before Christ . They saw Him in different forms and ways . Jehovah ..is elshaddai ,Elohim ,Adonia,nissi.. Each concept describing their experience of Him. This mode of knowing Him ended with Christ . Jesus told us " My Father and Your Father " When the spirit of adoption / Sonship spoke upon descent into us ,it says Abba Father . Just like Jesus ,we call Him Father . The less is more . No nicknames or several descriptions like the patriarchs of yore. We aren't servants but Sons . In the Family we all go by familiar terms . Dad and kids . In simple terms ,in praise ,prayer ,utterance ... We know The almighty God of the patriarchs beyond His offices and functions . We know Him more and intimately through our birth ,our conception . Abba Father is our response to His own call.. My beloved son ! Keep it simply simple! You have a blessed day ahead I call you blessed 100%Jesus we win ! Copied!

What are you doing with the gospel of christ (4) Jesus' death and resurrection and Ascension is for the whole world to know. 1 John 2:2 KJV [2] And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. His death is an act of the Father making peace and reconciliation with all men 2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV [19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. In this message, sins are not counted ,just like Abraham ,only faith is counted . Romans 4:5,7-8 KJV [5] But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. The ungodly believes and he's justified . 7] Saying , Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8] Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. In this message righteousness is given to anyone who believes . He is treated as if he never sinned . It happens as he believes the message of Christ Romans 10:10 KJV [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness.. This is a gift not a reward Romans 5:17 KJV [17] For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) You recieve the gift of no condemnation in Christ. This is so because of the sacrifice of christ . 1 John 4:10 KJV [10] Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. This event is now our message ,His message ,the gospel,His gospel 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: As earlier said,it has become news we should be telling . It's not just for knowing,it's for " going " A friend years back once retorted " The gospel means,God is good to you,it must be news to others " That sounds okay. My sins are forgiven, righteousness is mine, eternal life is mine . This was given to the whole world hence Jesus' instructions to us Mark 16:15 KJV [15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. All the world . We mustn't be found praying if we should go,we have been instructed to . Now let's see a few more details . In the four gospels Jesus once lamented about men not been available to herald the gospel Matthew 9:37 KJV [37] Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Harvest means the unsaved in scriptures here ,unsaved ready to be preached to and reached out to . John 4:35,41 KJV [35] Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. [41] And many more believed because of his own word; The harvest is the turning of men to the gospel by faith . Every harvest needs labourers, hence Jesus' lament about the labourers ,i.e men Labourers are preachers ,gospel heralds . So he instructs to pray , Matthew 9:38 KJV [38] Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. We shall touch this later . Now,he doesn't stop at praying or instructing to pray . Truly the few labourers he referred to were his disciples ,his 12 apostles Matthew 10:1,5,7-8 KJV [1] And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. He sent them out 5] These twelve Jesus sent forth... [7] And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Not to go and survey sinners but preach . Whilst we pray for more labourers we must use those yet available . Paul was clear about this Romans 10:14 KJV [14] How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? He never said how shall they hear without prayer . We are told to pray but you don't pray anyone " saved " In what I refer to as the dilemma of the unsaved ,the key solution in verse 14 above is the preacher . So when ever we see any community , city ,town or nation with much godlessness ,they only need a preacher ,a messenger They don't need Lamentations in our church sermons ,but those who will tell them . You will be amazed that despite numerous churches around certain places many around it haven't heard the gospel . We assume people must have heard . Jesus didn't ask us to analyze or do research or second guess. He simply said ,go and preach ! Paul tells us how this is done Romans 10:15 KJV [15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? ... Men must be sent ! The church must keep sending its members, those who have believed ,to the streets . Not to give out church invitations or tracts ,both of which are commendable . Most importantly ,to tell the goodnews by themselves . 15b..as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Preach the gospel and bring glad tidings . Not do street campaign for a special program . That's not what is being said here. There MUST be a deliberate attempt ,design and program by every local church to keep sending out men to places where verse 14 holds sway . The local church is in Jesus' stead like Matthew 10,His stead to send men out . A church shouldn't be found selecting men into an evangelism group . All believers must be involved in this . If we are true church disciples, then we become its messengers ,its apostles . We must ask ourselves ,which areas around us are unreached, have much ungodliness . That's the harvest . Handling duties for the church like ushering ,music ,sound etc is not the harvest or the labourers referred to earlier This same men Jesus sent out were still involved in other duties like distributing food, protocol for Jesus ,ushering for the crowds etc Yet they were involved in preaching the gospel .actively too. Mark 6:7 KJV [7] And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two by two This was after their ushering duties . No matter what you do for your local church, you are living in disobedience till you are on the streets, the buses, markets ,found preaching christ to the unsaved Giving mighty offerings doesn't substitute this . In the book of acts ,those who were chosen to handle food and natural things ,the seven Acts 6:3,5 KJV [3] Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. 5] And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: They didn't take that as an excuse not to reach out by preaching . Some would have said ,since I sing ,handle sound etc in church then I am preaching the gospel .Thats a huge joke , A sister once told me when I asked when last she went out on evangelism ,she answered thus " since I sing in the choir ,the annointing comes upon pastor and he gives altar calls and the sinner is saved ,so we did it together " Incredible ! She further said " my seed goes to the unsaved ,it's used to reach them " ( referring to her giving money " Wow ! She's been either wrongly taught, deceived or she's acting stupid . Those who preach aren't excused from giving and vice versa. The men chosen in Acts 6 as explained earlier were actively in preaching the gospel Stephen was Acts 6:10 KJV [10] And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. Phillip too Acts 8:5 KJV [5] Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. In fact the whole church did Acts 8:4 KJV [4] Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word. Except the apostles ,every other person in church went everywhere preaching the gospel . Being involved in church duties is no excuse . As said earlier, been engaged in departments in church doesn't exempt you from preaching the gospel actively and vice versa Paul and barnabas were engaged actively in preaching and teaching Acts 11:25-26 KJV [25] Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul: 26] And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Yet they were involved in " departmental " duties . Acts 11:30 KJV [30] Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul. Took relief ,physical things to Jerusalem Acts 12:25 KJV [25] And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, The church must keep sending its members to the streets ,places where the gospel is required If we had many more believers in this,we would spend less money on open air campaigns ( crusades ) Evangelism reaches far more people than tens and hundreds of such crusades will. It's time to be sent ,to go ,to stand up ,sit down with men, engage them ,just like Jesus ,the twelve ,seventy ,the entire church in Jerusalem did ,preaching the gospel to them We mustn't be found ashamed to do this Romans 1:16 KJV [16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Again ,What are you doing with the gospel of christ ( to be continued ) I call you blessed 100%Jesus We Win

WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST? (3) 2 Timothy 4:2 KJV [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season. We are messengers. Our duty is similar to the town crier. We aren't to add power or details to the message. We aren't supposed to add flavor to an already prepared message. Romans 1:16 KJV [16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God .. You can't do more than preach a message already called "His power". It has its own inherent ability to do what it talks about. No need to dramatize it or try to use worldly strategies. Its power is effective ONLY via preaching. 1 Corinthians 1:21 KJV ... it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. What pleases God is preaching What saves is preaching not choreographing it or adding some make believe. It reduces or totally obliterates its effectiveness. 1 Corinthians 2:1 KJV [1] And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. No adds on, just declare it! Don't ever attempt to remove what makes it powerful. 1 Corinthians 2:2 KJV [2] For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Christ and his cross .His redemption, His blood, His grave, His tears, cries, His resurrection. It's not just a general talk about God. It's about Christ. Not how great he was on earth or his benevolence or the Sermon on the Mount. But the sermon of the cross, the grave and the right hand of the Father 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: The event of the death, burial and resurrection and Ascension of Christ to the right hand of the Father is not only powerful, IT IS GODS POWER AT ITS FULLEST DISPLAY. Ephesians 1:19-20 KJV [19] And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, [20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places , You don't make this anymore powerful .You only deprive it of its power. By adding to it or taking away from it, adding entertainment, fiction, make believe etc. The message is as powerful as the event. In The event, Jesus was raised The message raises the sinner. Ephesians 2:5-6 KJV [5] Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) [6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: All the power is now in the message. Hence the needless and harmful attempt to secularize it. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 KJV [4] And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5] That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. No enticement, no seeker sensitive approach else its audience might not be saved. Power is found in Christ and His cross only. You are a messenger not a reviewer. Just preach! Like a town crier News casters read the news, report it not add their own personal feelings or views or testimonies. Your personal experience is not the news, it has no power to save The news is about Christ alone. We are gospel newscasters. That said. Our preaching must have a goal which our passion must entail and carry. Gusto, Passionate and heartfelt preaching Jesus' parables had this ingredient. We viewed this earlier Luke 15:4 KJV [4] What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? UNTIL...he finds it Luke 15:8 KJV [8] Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it ? Seek DILLIGENTLY TILL… She finds it We must have a never say die attitude Our motto must be, never give up. 1 Corinthians 9:16 KJV for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! We must seek to save like Jesus did We mustn't preach out of an obligation, just to fulfil a demand. It must be about the sinner receiving salvation. Our passion must be unmistakably for the unsaved to not remain so 1 Corinthians 9:22-23 KJV ....I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. [23] And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. For the gospel sake, we go all out! Attimes this might take a few minutes, sometimes hours, days, weeks. It yet must be done! It mustn't be reduced to our convenience, when I have the time. Salvation is the singular most important event to God. It's the only action on earth that changes the mood of heaven Luke 15:7, 10 KJV [7] I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. [10] Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. More than teaching meetings, more than healing the sick, more than anything spiritual activity. We must pursue it this way. We must go out to do this. The streets, the buses, the cabs, markets etc. Not church buildings. Just like this parable Luke 14:21 KJV [21] Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. Go to where men are And after the servant did and "church" still wasn't filled Luke 14:22-23 KJV [22] And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. He asked him to keep going till we should need another church venue [23] And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. This is the passion of the preacher. We must empty the bars, dance clubs, religious places, etc. We must fill the churches with brand new converts, from our going out (we shall touch this later) I heard of a prominent preacher in my country Nigeria, who asked that the streets be emptied of non-churched people on Sundays, hence men were sent out Sunday mornings to do this. That's the spirit! Don't just preach without a goal Preach with the desire and compelling intensity to ensure you are well Heard and with the sole intent that the audience receive and is saved! No one will be saved by your bible study or prayer or arguing over issues on social media Romans 10:14 KJV ... and how shall they hear without a preacher? Not without a prayer warrior or a great organizer. It will take to declare it, announce, on the streets, corners, markets, buses etc. It will take doing this passionately (to be continued) Once again, what are you doing with the gospel of Christ? Have a blessed day ahead I call you blessed 100%Jesus We Win Copied!

What are you doing with The gospel of christ (1) I once asked a fellow believer the above question, and he was taken aback after he answered by saying " am enjoying it " and I said " it's not for enjoyement or aquisition of information but for sharing Proverbs 25:25 KJV [25] As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. The term gospel means good news that is told not found out or searched for The term implies a Message and a messenger . It's the message of salvation Mark 16:15-16 KJV [15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Romans 1:16 KJV [16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. It's not a message of asking unbelievers to confess their sins or to condemn them If it's the gospel of christ at all, there will be no condemnation for sins ,only for unbelief John 3:17-18 KJV [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. It's the message of reconciliation . God seeking peace with sinners not the other way round Luke 19:10 KJV [10] For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. He is( was ) the one seeking 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV [18] And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; [19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. This is very critical as we shall dwell later on this fundamental fact ,we don't ask sinners to come we seek for them ,just like God in Christ It's a message of unconditional forgiveness of sins Luke 7:48 KJV [48] And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. By faith anyone receives forgiveness of sins by the gospel Luke 24:47 KJV [47] And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Remission means to take away . Exactly what Jesus did John 1:29 KJV [29] The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 1 John 2:2 KJV [2] And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. We must never preach the gospel with creeds or some legalistic requirements Acts 10:42-43 KJV [42] And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. [43] To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. We are COMMANDED to preach this unconditional forgiveness of sins . Acts 26:18 KJV [18] To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. They only recieve ! They aren't to pray for salvation or confess sins or ask God to accept them . It's a receiving . It's a message of Faith Romans 10:8 KJV [8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; It's not to ask for penance or change of ways . It is for believing It's a message of grace Acts 20:24 KJV [24] But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. It means it's freely given and freely recieved Romans 8:32 KJV [32] He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? That said What are we to do with it ? Haven recieved it we automatically become its ambassadors It's messengers 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV [18] ... and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19] ... and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Many have not recieved this ministry even though it has been given to and committed to them This message has to be told or it loses its vibrancy and flavor . It's an aroma 2 Corinthians 2:14 KJV [14] Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. Savour here means fragrance . It must be spread . It can't be smelled whilst in your bible ,notes ,MP3 or even your mind ! No one gets to notice the fragrance of a perfume while it's still in the bottle . We shall be touching this subsequently . Till then ,Never forget the gospel is not primarily a body of knowledge ,but a message that becomes effective when it's TOLD. So what are you doing with the gospel ? ( to be continued ) Have a glorious week ahead I call you blessed 100%Jesus We Win ! Copied!
