The Laced-Up Project is teaming up with our alias at BAK as part of a series Called Trainings for the Not Yet. Our focus will be on Consent but check out the full series on offer at https://www.bakonline.org/nl/program-item/trainings-for-the-not-yet/trainingsprogramma-trainings-for-the-not-yet/ Training with The Laced-Up Project Discussions, presentations, and practical exercises on the art of consent 14−18 hrs, including dinner from 18−19 hrs at the Basic Activist Kitchen. This is a one-day training. The topic of consent has emerged strongly into public awareness thanks to the #metoo and other feminist movements. As consent has gained fresh prominence, it has perhaps moved away from a “no means no” to a “yes means yes” model. However, it is still unclear for manypeople how to constructively incorporate active consent into daily life, with fear that it will involve endless, business-like negotiations. But there are ways of doing so that are both practical and fun. This training explores and applies consent theory, and engages in discussions and practical exercises aimed at figuring out what works for the individual participants’ needs. Even with consent, there is no such thing as the right way; but there is a right way for you⎯in both your private and public lives.

Skilled stylists are always on duty. We aim to style you to the point that you feel confident. We are very experienced working with people with body image issues. A stylist must measure you, with your consent before fitting clothes. We will measure the clothes before you fit them so that they won’t be damaged by the fitting. Wear or bring underwear. If you try on our clothes without underwear, you will be required to purchase the items that came in contact with your genitals. A few more things to know: We try to have items in the various departments in a range of prices to suit your budget. We do no hard selling. Buy it if you love it or leave it here. If you dream about it, come back and see us :-) The price on the item is the “nice price”. The prices are the minimum to keep our doors open. We do not haggle. While we are delighted to help you with styling, education & advice, It is not a space for folks to hang out and flirt or socialize with the staff. We are such a small team and we are always busy. We also cannot accommodate doing custom work but we a happy to do a special order if we don’t have your size. There is no extra charge for this service. We can arrange to ship it to you if you are not local to Utrecht. Mostly we ship via Post.nl, in NL the charge is usually €6.95 Please leave the dog alone, he is a service dog. Return Policy: Latex is not returnable & we do not have a latex repair service. Toys can only be returned if defective. Panties are not returnable. Corsets cannot be returned after the seasoning process has begun. If you cannot respect our boundaries we will politely ask you to shop elsewhere.
