The Palestinian Land Day: 30 March On this day in 1976 the Israeli government decided to confiscate 21 donums of land from the two Palestinian villages Arraba and Sekhneen. The Palestinians protested these illegal decisions in all the cities and villages. As a result, the Israeli occupation forces killed six Palestinians, injured and detained hundreds in Sekhneen, Arraba, and Derhanna villages. Today, our people continue in their protest against continued daily land expropriations, house demolitions, mass incarceration of minors and extrajudicial killings. "Naila and the Uprising tells the story of the first Palestinian intifada, and the key role women played in it. Today's screening starts at 4.45 PM and will be followed by a Q&A with activist Naila Ayesh and producer Jen Marlowe about non-violent resistance and women’s leadership, empowerment and participation in Palestine."

Ambassador Sulaiman visited the family of Ahed and Nariman Tamimi today in their village of Nabi Saleh to convey a message of solidarity. Bassem, Ahed’s father, had phone calls with a number of friends in the Netherlands that campaign for justice and her release from the illegal military occupation jails.
