We are Stamicarbon.
"Pioneering with a higher purpose. Enabling the world to feed itself and improve the quality of life." The world’s leading company in the design and project development of chemical plants, licensing of technologies and supply of high end equipment and services for the petrochemical industry. A company specialized in the fertilizer industry with the pioneering vision to help enable the world to feed itself and improve the quality of life.
Stamicarbon is the world's leading name in the development and licensing of urea technology for the fertilizer industry. Our company has the pioneering vision to help enable the world to feed itself and improve the quality of life.
Since being launched in 1947, we have gained the pure knowledge that has helped us excel in our field. It has supplied us with generations of high-quality research. This includes an in-depth knowledge of the processes and practices that prove to be so successful for our customers. Currently, more than 240 urea plants around the world have already used our technology to add nutrients to crops, replenish arable land and increase crop yields.
At Stamicarbon we like to lead the way. We go out to develop and apply new techniques, explore unchartered areas of knowledge and engage in new activities. We also encourage our employees to balance ownership and entrepreneurship as they take on the responsibility for searching for the best solution for your problem. We are really proud of our talented process engineer, Paz Munoz, for delivering a great presentation at the #ANNA conference two weeks ago. More info on our #nitricacid #technology can be found in this month's #nitrogenandsyngas magazine
STAMICARBON ACQUIRES 20% STAKE IN US-BASED PURSELL AGRI-TECH Stamicarbon has acquired a 20% stake in Pursell Agri-Tech, LLC, a U.S.-based start-up company specialized in developing and marketing polymer-coated, controlled-release fertilizers. The amount of Stamicarbon's investment is equal to USD 5.5 million. Pursell Agri-Tech, headquartered in Sylacauga, Alabama, has developed a new technology to coat fertilizers at very competitive cost levels, to produce controlled-release fertilizers that are suitable for efficient fertilization of broad-acre commodity agricultural crops. This innovative technology combines proprietary polymer compositions and a high-performance coating process to deliver a range of controlled-release fertilizers, notably urea, resulting in a highly sustainable crop nutrient solution that boosts farmers' yields while also reducing the potential impact on the environment.

One of Stamicarbon's talented process engineers, Paz Munoz, will be a speaker at this year's ANNA conference in Texas. She will talk about Stamicarbon's Dual Pressure Nitric Acid Technology that is designed for maximum energy recovery.
At Stamicarbon we are fond of #diversity! Our employees share many different cultures, backgrounds and talents. That is why we are so happy to see our employees excel, not just in their jobs at Stamicarbon, but also in other areas of their lives- such as our Sales & Solutions Manager John Oostveen who is a talented trumpeter. His band, "Groove Unlimited", gave their first live performance this weekend. Stamicarbon would like to congratulate John and his band on a successful debut performance! 👏
