Former vessels from Sima Charters started in Canada - http://www.simacharters.com/former-vessels-sima-charters-started-canada/ We received this beautiful picture from a happy costumer after a smooth and successful deal. The picture was taken on a lovely day during the Tall ship festival in Halifax. The vessels were purchased for their outstanding performances, during rough weather, by a pilotage authority from Canada. Part of this deal was to send over an experienced instructor to familiarize a local group of launch masters & deckhands in the best possible way, with the two vessels. This was found very valuable by the costumer.

The casco of the SC Sapphire is almost finished and ready for transport to Aalst. The casco is built by Folmer, and the final completion of the vessel will be done by Neptune Shipyards.

MPT mono hull series are getting more and more respected. - http://www.simacharters.com/mono-hull/ MPT mono hull series are getting more and more respected. Roughly one year ago the SC Amethyst won a contract on the London Array windfarm. This contract mend that the first Mono hull vessel had proven to be more potential than her Dubbel hull sisters known as catamarans. Sima Charters will have her second large Mono Hull vessels end of this year ready for sea trails. Many have already shown to be interested trying her out, preferably in rough weather conditions at sea. London Array and the crew of Sima Charters still enjoy the SC Amethyst on a Dailey bases end both look forward meeting her bigger sister. At Blightbank & Thorntonbank the two smaller versions of the SC Amethyst, The SC Amber & SC Agate are doing quick and efficient crew transfers. Instead of sailing 12 technicians up and down with huge boats these operators decided to use “fits for purpose” kind of vessels witch Agate & Amber are. With half the fuel they get the job done in far less time than the bigger common CTV’s. big benefit on the working hours of the technicians! As paint repairs is mostly done with these type of boats we equipped them with a below deck storage for tools, paint and spares, and a dressing unit on the aft deck for overalls end more stock. Also we carry 4000 liter fresh water that we can pump up to 40 meters of height! That makes cleaning a lot less complicated!
