I had the pleasure and honour of meeting this 90+ year old veteran on a trip to Europe visiting sites of battles etc last year with my family. They were places where my grandfather was as an artilleryman in the Canadian Forces. May we not forget the price these brave men and women paid for our incredible freedom. Canadians should be proud of our amazing history and reputation. We often do not get the credit we deserve. Honour the fallen and those that returned, their memory, and be joyful and feel blessed for the peace we now enjoy 😇 Thank you Grampa Ernie for your sacrifice, and for those like you #thankyouformyfreedom
