* FOR SALE * Lovely green Messerschmitt 161 free arm sewing machine , with kneebar from 1963. It does a nice straight stitch. You can also adjust the stitchlength and it has reverse. This Messerschmitt 161 comes with a wonderfull, large, original wooden table. This Messerschmitt 161 has been cleaned, oiled , greased and tested. It does a nice stitch. The motor has been cleaned too. The motor works on 220v, but with a stepup/stepdown convertor it also can be used in the US and Canada. The original case has seen better days, but can be locked. There is an original little case with Messerschmitt and some accessories : 4 bobbins, 2 screwdrivers, brush, original set type 1738 needles, darning foot, 2 hemmer feet, and a zipper foot. This wonderfull sewing machine has a 80 Watt motor that works on 220V. You can run it with the original kneebar. It works great ! * Airplane engineering in a sewing machine * Today i have been working on a sturdy German Messerschmitt 161 free-arm , straight stitch sewing machine from the 1960's. I know Messerschmitt is famous for their planes and cars, but they also have build some wonderfull, sturdy sewing machines. I have cleaned, oiled and greased the Messerschmitt 161, but still it was running a bit slow. Therr was a lot of thread behind the hook assembly. So i had to remove it. The motor was sparking a lot, so i had to remove the motor and clean the commutator with a pencil eraser. Cleaned the brushes and we were good to go !! Then i assembled everything and cleaned and polished the green machine on the outside. I took a testrun with the very large wooden extensiontable attached. After some finetuning of the uppertension, it did a nice stitch. Mission accomplished !! This Messerschmitt 161 will soon be up for sale !!

The lid has a metal handle. And the case can be locked with the key. This Singer 66 with Lotus decals is in nice condition concidering age. * Salvation Army * The Salvation Army called me last week. They were looking for Some sewing machines to buy. They wanted to sew some new pillows from old jeans with them. So i worked my butt off to service a Singer 401, Singer 412, Husqvarna E21, Impala zigzag, and Maritza zigzag sewing machine with in 1.5 weeks. :-). They are fully tested with 2 layers of jeans and 2 layers of thin leather on it. Now they are all set to test them this afternoon in their production room :-).

*SOLD* Uncommon Singer 99k hand crank sewing machine , with foldup table. "Featherweight Style". There was only one batch made of these 99's in 1934. As a follow up to the Featherweight succes, Singer also made a 99k with a foldup bed. If you look closely you will see the open area where the bobbin platen slides is. Well thought over. This Singer 99k had been cleaned, oiled , polished and tested. It does a nice straight stitch. Since these types of 99's were not sold in a case, i added a leather snakeskin case to protect this uncommon Singer 99k. I also added a Godzilla tin with some attachments like : Tuckmarker, edgestitcher, seamguide, Hemstitcher, 2 classic 66 bobbins , binderfoot, feeddog coverplate, scissors addon, cordguide, and spare needles (not pictures).
