Arnout (top right standing on the photo), arrived today in Australia to compete with his team and the Nuna9 in the solar challenge race. Arnout was a former teammember of our Apollo Eco Marathon team and has worked for 1,5 year as a productionmanager in the solar car team. We wish him all the best down under!

Today we finished our last project of the year, Amigo the vertical axis turbine project. During the Windturbine Competition 2017 we had 2,5 hours of windtunnel time to generate as much energie as possible. Everything worked according to plan. The winner will be announced after the team presentations on friday during the symposium of windturbines. Inholland Delft Innofil3D

Unfortunately we did not make the final attempt due to the starter engine problems. All the hardware was on the edge of engineering. These are the risks of innovation but we will go on and prepare better next year so we come back stronger!
