The Fellowship of Acoustics is a music shop with a great international reputation for selling fine, vintage and rare guitars. Rudi and “the Fellowship of Acoustics”
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why I started ‘the Fellowship of Acoustics’. Me is, Rudi Bults, Guitarist, obsessed with tone, Wood and people. And although we manage a ivery nice Web shop also, our actual Store is nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores known all over Europe. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell all kinds of different instruments, vintage & new, electric & acoustic, mandolins & banjo’s, amps & accessories, mainly only Quality stuff, hard to come by. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this website - much more than “a list of gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.

This is a rare one, a 1959 Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster with a venetian cutaway. Only 167 blonde finished ES-5 Switchmasters were produced in the 1956-1961 period and only 33 of them were made in 1959. In 1957 Gibson switched from 3 P90 pickups to 3 humbuckers on this model which along with the rounded venetian cutaway makes it a very desirable guitar. It is not hard to see where the Switchmaster got its name. The Pickup seletor switch is prominently placed and It enables the player to switch on the pickups separately or all at once. With a tone and volume circuit for each humbucker offering a variety of sounds. 3 original PAF pickups!
