Military training like this air crash training exercise is essential to ensuring the high readiness of NATO forces for operations such as the NATO Response Force. JFC Brunssum is the lead headquarters for the NRF during 2016. Air, land, maritime, special forces, and logistics troops from across the Alliance have been placed on a high level of readiness and are available to support NRF 2016 if required.

2d Cavalry Regiment

Protecting people is what NATO is all about. Joint Force Command Brunssum is one of two operational-level military headquarters in NATO and our task is to enable multinational forces to accomplish assigned missions. We do this as part of the NATO family and facilitate everything from humanitarian relief to security assistance and military cooperation.
