Deep BV, Hydrography & Geophysics, is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Deep maps everything on, around and in the subsurface three-dimensionally by means of advanced technology, both on land and on water. The employees of Deep are experienced hydrographic surveyors, geologists, geophysicists and engineering geologists.
A good collaboration between these various specialties within multidisciplinary projects is important to come to high-tech solutions. Deep carries out projects for the dredging and offshore industry, contractors, governmental organizations and engineering companies. According to Deeps' vision, a good collaboration with and openness towards the client will eventually lead to the best result.
Deep uses 'state of the art' equipment. In combination with clear procedures and experienced operators this will lead to reliable and accurate measurements.
The surveyors who have gained a lot of know-how during the years in supporting projects will share their knowledge with the client to obtain an optimal final result.
The basic assumption of Deep is that sincerity, honesty and excellent co-operation with the client will lead to the best final results and greatest satisfaction.
Deep uses the following techniques: Multibeam, singlebeam, sidescan sonar, magnetometer, sub-bottom profiling, ground penetrating radar (GPR), radio detection, resistance measurements, EM-methods, dGPS positioning, under-water video and positioning, wave and tidal measurements, vibrocoring etc.

Deep has purchased two Mini-Ranger 2 Ultra-Short BaseLine (USBL) tracking systems supplied by Sonardyne International Ltd., to support inshore, harbour, coastal and offshore activities. Read the news release here:
Een knappe prestatie door de heren van Octopus Muiden. Tijdens de Muiden-Pampus-Muiden race van afgelopen weekend stonden zij maar liefst drie keer op het podium. Op zaterdag werd de 2e prijs Heren kuikens MPM in de wacht gesleept, wat resulteerde in een 3e prijs Heren kuikenklasse 2017. Daarop volgde op zondag nog de 3e prijs voor Heren Eerste Klasse MPM.
