The youth hostel is situated right in front of the castle and has a capacity of 95 beds.  The youth hostel is situated right in front of the castle and has a capacity of 95 beds. The castle has another 60 beds which are for the groups’ participation at the educational activities offered by the Centre SNJ. The hostel is open the whole year and is perfect for school classes, youth groups and individual hikers. All in all there are 155 beds with rooms between 2 and 10 beds. The sanitary facilities are located in the base ground, toilets are on the floors.
In 1975, the castle became the home of the ecological youth center, which offers, in close co-operation with the youth hostel, ecological courses for groups and classes.

It possesses supplementary availabilities of 60 beds only for groups participating at pedagogical activities. The youth hostel offers a tinkering room as well as three common rooms, which may be used as classrooms. HIFI & Video equipment can be put at the group’s disposal if required.

Our team will do its best to satisfy the guests and offers full board (lunch, dinner, packed lunch). Luxembourgish specialities and vegetarian meals are available on request.

Close to the youth hostel, the youth center Marienthal with its high rope park offers activities around educational adventure to youth and school groups.

The youth hostel is open for young and old. There is no age limit.
