Follow the Global Governance Programme The world faces a myriad of increasingly complex issues that have a global dimension, and cannot be effectively dealt with at the level of individual states: the instability in the international economic and financial system, climate change, development and poverty reduction, humanitarian crises and intervention, terrorism, conflict resolution and peace-building. No player – intergovernmental organization, academic institution, national government, private company – can stand alone and act to address global issues. An harmonized collective action is needed. With its three dimensions, Research, Policy and Training, the Global Governance Programme (GGP) contributes to this collective effort by sharing knowledge, developing new ideas, and serving as a bridge between research and policy-making.
