Yoga Meditation Relaxation and Mindfulness Classes and Workshops dedicated to nurture health and wellbeing Angelika is an experienced and highly qualified Yoga Teacher with a background in Physiotherapy. She started practicing yoga over 20 years ago and has now 10 years experience of teaching students of all levels and backgrounds. Her classes are dedicated to nurture and promote a healthy relationship with our bodies, understanding and learning of how to manage the mind and to return to a quiet place within ourselves from where we can start to understand the deeper meaning of our existence.

Monday: Kilcoole 7.30pm-9pm
Tuesday: Greystones 6.45pm-8.10pm/ 8.15pm -9.45pm
Wednesday: Newcastle 7.30pm-8.15pm Yoga for Back class
Thursday: Newcastle: 10.30am-12pm
Greystones: 7.00pm -7.50pm Relaxation Class
8.00pm- 9.30pm

Yoga inspired by Nature Sunday 25th June 11am -1pm Newcastle Cost: €20 Most yoga practices were inspired and drawn from careful observation of the natural environment. Through the study of animals how they move, stretch and recover after challenges, from the plants being fragile and yet so resilient, inspired by the majesty and stillness of mountains, the mirror reflections in lakes, the changes throughout the seasons, day and night, light and darkness. Of course the first yogis never actually saw themselves as anything different then part of nature, part of this same ecosystem and bound by the same natural laws. It is easy to forget those roots when practicing mostly indoors. To really engage all our senses and feel alive and vibrant we need to bring the practice outdoors as well. When we experience ourselves as part of our own environment we learn to fully appreciate it. This connection is also an important step to ignite as well as deepen a personal responsibility we all have for the safety of our earth. Weather permitting we will be mostly outdoors and explore simple practices that can easily be done wherever you are even without a mat or cushion. It will also suit those with previous experience who would like to deepen their practice. the class is especially beneficial for anyone who would like to learn to manage stress, has anxiety, insomnia or is recovering from an illness. These Mindfulness classes will help us to feel more connected and develop skills on how to look after ourselves more effectively in a kind and compassionate way. The class will give you a sense of deep nourishment and rest. Everyone is very welcome

Yoga Morning Connecting with our Core Energy Center- Solar Plexus Sunday 21st May 11am -1pm Cost: €20 Newcastle Le Cheile Our focus for this morning is connecting with our Core Energy Center- Solar Plexus- the Manipura Chakra. Appropriately for this time of the year when we are naturally more energetic and outgoing and need extra energy. But our supply is not endless so it is very important to replenish and to re-energies to keep a healthy and sustainable balance. There are many yoga postures as well as breathing and visualizing during resting periods that specifically stimulate and balance our core center so we can stay on track and most importantly also enjoy the high energy of this season. This class will be deeply satisfying and relaxing and is suitable for all levels of experience and fitness.

Yoga and Meditation Morning Relieving Neck, Shoulder and Chest Tension Sunday 23rd April 11am - 1pm Newcastle €20 Enjoy a morning of Yoga and Meditation. The focus will be on practices that especially help to relieve tension around the shoulder, neck and chest regions. We will move the body through specific stetches and poses as well as releasing blocked energy by stimulating the associated accupressure points. This class will be deeply satisfying and relaxing. New Term of Yoga Classes April - July Greystones, Newcastle and Newtownmountkennedy starting 18th April I have morning and evening classes for all levels of experience. Drop in is possible on some of the classes depending on spaces. If you sign up for whole term of either 10 or 12 weeks you are able to change classes during the week or attend two in one week if missing a class another week so you get your full set of classes during the term.
