We all here in The Sailing Cot really hope you all enjoyed The Sailing Cot Christmas Dinner yesterday an we want to thank each and every one of ye who came to enjoy the day amongst friends and be part of a wonderful community. We need to thank a couple of people in particular. To all our staff who helped prepare the pub, serve out the 116 5 course dinners which were prepared yesterday and clean up afterwards, we are so grateful for your help and ,just to let everyone know, they give up their day to do this for free!! That's how much they love being part of what is now one of the most looked forward to days of the year. To Dj Johnny G Whizz! Well what can we say about this fella only a huge well done to you! You sang, danced and I couldn't do justice describing all the other things that you did yesterday. It was hilarious and brilliant all in the one time and the day just wouldn't have been the same without ya! Well done Johnny. And to Jimmy Barry of Jimmy's Kitchen, who sourced, prepared and cooked the delicious food which was on offer yesterday. Without local lad Jimmy, it just wouldn't be possible for us to put on a day like yesterday. And again, Jimmy gives up his day to give all of the local community the chance of Christmas dinner with their friends. Well done Jimmy. We really do appreciate all of your efforts. To Cormac, our Manager in The Cot, who put the whole event together and made it all happen, well done to you. It all went fantastically. And to anyone else who were involved in any way in the preparation or running of yesterdays Sailing Cot Christmas Dinner we thank you very much. We look forward to doing it all again next year!!

What a fantastic day yesterday at the Sailing Cot Christmas Dinner. Every year it just gets better and better. Record numbers yesterday! Just Brilliant.
