Performance Base Wexford is Wexford's premier facility to participate in a community based fitness programme that is focused on real functional movement that will translate to life and help with everyday tasks.
Our goal is to improve your movement and help you reach your fitness goals.
Our workouts range from one to one, small group environment to team training. Any fitness level can participate as we can scale and modify all our workouts to suit.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🔦 !! March Member of the Month !! This month we have chosen the gazelle that is David Richards !! This early riser can always be found in our Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6:30am class bouncing through the toughest workouts and always finishing with a smile and encouragement for everyone around him !! So Dave we just want to say thank you for being apart of our community !! Check out how our interview went below !! Name - David Richard Age- 46 in a few weeks 😔 Occupation- equestrian coach and event rider. How long have you been at pbw? 8 months What do you enjoy about pbw? The craic and buzz of getting through a wod and not actually dying but I reckon its been close on a few occasions and the challenge of operating out of my comfort zone. Favourite movement- American kettle bell swings Least favourite- Burpees..I've tried to embrace and learn to love them..not happening and clusters are like an upright burpee with a weight thrown in for fun..yucky!!! Biggest achievement in PBW - muscle ups, the few that I've managed Goals for the future- to keep learning and coming back for more What advice would you give someone thinking of starting with pbw? Put down the jaffa cakes, switch off the telly, get off the couch and come on in. The coaches know what they're doing, great explanations and motivation and support from other members too. It's not just for elite athletes and there really is something for everyone. Tell us something we don't know about you? This ain't fake tan!!😂 I'm interested in cryptozoology. Who's the gym buddy you most enjoy working out with? Johnny Doyle dragged me along at the start so special mention to him but I think you can learn by watching anybody too. Darren has been only with us for 7 months but in that space of time this guy has growing from strength to strength getting his first toes to bar and also gaining a allot of lean muscle mass in the process !! Just 9 months but feels like longer! What do you enjoy about PBW ?? So much! The varied workouts from day to day, the partner WODs, everyone pushing each other to be better and having a post class breakdown with people while stretching out! What is your favourite movement? Snatch and double unders, especially in a big workout What is your least favourite? All bar work but its something I WILL get better at soon! What is your biggest achievement in PBW ? Finally getting comfortable with double unders, had whip marks on my arms and legs for a few weeks but totally worth it! What goals do you have for the future? Stop waiting for that magicial Monday motivation, send a message, book an intro class and take it from there, that’s the hardest part!
