Our Mission Statement:To promote change and social justice through access to knowledge and information. We are a public library service run by Wexford County Council. Membership of the library is free. So why not join? Just call in to us with proof of address (letter, bill, driving licence etc.) and photographic ID, fill out a simple registration form. When you become a member of Wexford Library, you can:
Borrow up to 12 items and this includes books, DVDs, CDs for 3 weeks at a time, from any of our public library branches in County Wexford.
Free internet access.
Book a session to practice the Driver theory test.
Learn a new language online from the comfort of your own home.
Be in the know about free events happening in your library

Pirate Jim and the Easter Eggstravaganza It was lovely to see all the boys and girls with their parents here in Wexford Library today. Lisa from Shinebright Theatre put on an amazing puppet show with the Easter Bunny, Timmy, Pirate Jim and Princess Fancypants with lots of help from the audience! Thanks a million to Lisa. From all of us at Wexford Library, we wish you a Happy Easter Weekend.

Peter Rabbit Easter Craft in Wexford Library We had a great time today with the wonderful Helen Woods who showed the boys and girls how to make a fabulous Peter Rabbit figure. You can see the work in progress in the photos and the final result. Well done to all the boys and girls who attended. We hope you had fun and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Rhyme Time at Wexford Library We had our biggest ever group for Rhyme Time today.Thank you for coming along and joining in the songs and rhymes and actions and fun together.We hope that you enjoyed it! Rhyme Time is on in Wexford Library every Wednesday at 10.30 and everyone is very welcome. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

The relationship between Irish writers, specifically poets, and the landscape, has been the source of a pervasive tradition, where mystery, belonging and alienation are omnipresent. As part of the ongoing Terra Nostra exhibition and series of lectures, writer and book reviewer for The Sunday Times, Tom Mooney, will examine the work of contemporary Irish poets to explore the layers of story and meaning, and show how the landscape is freshly minted by their verse.
