Physio West Clinic is a Chartered Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic located in the heart of Westport town. It is run by Sarah Kavanagh a Chartered Physiotherapist. Sarah has over 10 years work experience in the hospital and private practice setting in both Ireland and Australia. She qualified with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from UCD in 2004, Completed her Masters degree in Manual Therapy in Perth,Australia in 2008 and is a Pilates Teacher.
Sarah's goal is to reduce your pain as quickly as possible while also getting to the root of the problem and correcting any dysfunction that the injury may have caused.She believes in a 'hands on' approach and in empowering the patient with the correct information and exercise program to treat their condition and make a fully recovery!
Physio West wants to allow you to reach your goal and not allow the pain to get in the way! Be it run a marathan, complete an adventure race, play golf or tennis into your golden years, lift your children painfree, sit at the computer with ease, complete a 5km walk or keep your key position on a sports team- the aim is to keep you moving!
