Another very good talk on DNA attended by 5th year Mercy Girls this morning. Thank you to all the Mercy Staff and Mr. Brennan for their patience in letting the girls attend the talks in WIT for Science week.
All week our school has being taking part in #standup17 campaign creating awareness of the LGBT bullying.#belongto. We have had bracelet handed out, murals painted, a ted talk, rainbow crossings, picnic,paper dolls....all in the hope that the message is clear that bullying in any form won't be tolerated in the Mercy. We would like to thank the following businesses for their support: ColourTrend, Mr.Price, Heighton Buckley, Homebase, Morris,Blaa Boy, Cupcake Coutoure, Swift Sports Clinic and Centra (Farran Road.
Congratulations to our 6th years Hannah, Ciara and Kellie who came joint 4th out of 20 teams in the Senior Science Quiz WIT for Science Week. Well done girls!!!!

Our senior team who lost their midlands semi-final today together with our 1st year who played a friendly.
Congratulations to the following teams that took part in our 2nd year Science Quiz today. First place 'Samantha and the 3 Einsteins', 2nd place' the Atoms Family' and 3rd place.' LOB adventures'!!!. Best team name went to the 'Ionics 'A big thank you to Mr. O' Neil who organised the quiz.
School finishes at 3.30 tomorrow for our 3rd year parent teacher meeting which is from 4.15 to 6.45. Also we would like to remind all parents that we continue to offer a free breakfast each morning from 8.40 which this morning included scrambled eggs!!!
