Pat Rockett Karate and Kickboxing Academy has karate, kickboxing and boxing classes, also Waterford Fitness, with personal training. The Pat Rockett Karate and Kickboxing Academy is now the biggest karate and kickboxing organisation in the south east,with 24 black-belt instructors who work voluntary to promote standards of expert instruction,and who kindly give their time to raise funds to send juniors to compete internationally.
Pat received his 6th Dan in 2011 and is continuously working full time promoting Martial Arts. Pat was Irish Karate Champion for 7 consecutive years and is still competing internationally. He has built up one of the finest Karate and kickboxing clubs in the country over the past few years and has fighters representing both his club and Ireland.
Pat's close association with the Bushi Kai organisation in Wales who's chief instructor is the late legendary Shihan Richie Noblett 8th Dan RIP has provided invaluable guidance and helped his club become one of the best in the country. Shihan Noblett passed away in 2009 and will never be forgotten for his guidance and valuable advice that made this club what it is. Behind Pat, is a committee with the same passion for Martial Arts, which has helped him develop existing fighters in their sport, and encourage new members to join this fantastic club..
Pat Rockett is also a qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor who holds an NCEF certificate through the University of Limerick.

What a fantastic day of kickboxing at the Crystal leisure centre. A huge array of very talented competitors. So proud of my own team who were fantastic. Also our new team of referees Who joined Jean and myself and billy murphys team to run each area effectively. Big well done and thank you to all my team for helping to dismantle all our equipment.
Congratulations to 2 of our club members and Blackbelts grace Keane and Rebecca Phelan on becoming pool life guards. The course was run by the Irish Water Safety Waterford in conjunction with the crystal leisure centre. Well done girls.
Big massive congrats to Ciara Dullaghan from north west karate who is a black belt and also a Physical Education teacher. Ciara travelled this week to Waterford for our Irish Water safety pool life guard course held at the crystal leisure centre Waterford and passed with flying colors another great achievement for Ciara. Again congratulations from all of us in Waterford Ciara.
