Mobile Phone Recycling Crann Mór Training Centre (Western care association) in Ballinrobe is currently recycling old mobile phones to get an iPad to use as a teaching tool in the centre. If you had any unused or damaged mobile phones, and are willing to help the Centre with their collection, it would be greatly appreciated. You can drop them in to me in the shop. Thanks in advance. Currently there is a phone call scam targeting Eir /Eircom customers or anyone that has a landline. The calls are originating from Indian call centres, they inform you that they are from Eir / Eircom and that there is a lot suspicious traffic originating from your PC and they need to urgently fix it. At this stage they ask you to visit a website and install an application that will give them remote access to your PC. When they have gained access they then install a virus on your PC to mine your financial details. If you receive a call like this just hang up don’t entertain them never give them access to your PC.
