This fully tapered line comes in bands of 25m with a 20m shock leader. This allows you to find the fish and stick at that distance. This is specially affective at night when you cant see where the lead is landing. This being the lighter stuff it's ideal when distance is a must and there is little to no weed or those bright sunny days when you get more bites when using lighter mainline but still need a shock leader incase you have to land a big bass in the surf
