CRFC Summer Camp : Final Day Sadly we have come to the end of another amazing Summer Camp, and what a week it has been, Final day saw the kicking competitions, Spiders Webs, Finals of the competitions, and the Kids V Coaches, talk about a full on day, but Fun was had by all , coaches included. The kids did not stop once all week, their enthusiasm and energy was amazing as always,and not to mention their skills, which dazzeled quiet a few coaches over the week what a great bunch of kids, A big shout out to all our Coaches and Junior coaches who made this a great week for everyone, We hope all enjoyed the week and most of all had FUN, FUN, FUN, Looking forward to seeing you all in septemeber

CRFC Summer Camp: Day 4 Today was all about the Rugby Competitions, With the groupings done and teams balanced out, it was full on all day with game after game, We had 8 very competitive teams . Lions, Chiefs, Hurricanes, Stormers, Sharks, Warratahs, Highlanders, Crusaders. The scores are being added up and standings will be revealed in the morning, There are loads of points up for offer tomorrow before the Finals, Games were played at a blistering pace today ( you can see the scorch marks on the Pitches) and the kids never stopped all day, Tomorrow will also see the mouthwatering clashes between the Kids V Coaches, anticipation is building, so off to bed early, get a good night’s rest, up early healthy brekkie and put on your warrior faces for tomorrow . CRFC Summer Camp : Day 3 Today things really heated up , with competitions going to a new level and the introduction of new activites. The old favourite Dodgeball was back, and No they still havent figured out they are supposed to dodge the balls (The laughing from them each time they took a hit is unbelievable) also making first appearance this year was basketball ,which our smaller groups really enjoyed, soccer as always gets a big thumbs up, and we have loads of prima donnas here ( i wont name and shame the actual coaches ) Rugby Golf went to a new high this year with numerous holes in one, The Rugby matches are heating up, as they prepare for the start of competitons tomorrow. One of the Favourites today was the Gauntlet, which had a slight twist, as the coaches had to run the gauntlet, and im happy to say most coaches are still walking 😂😂😂, I have no idea where these kids get there energy, running and laughing non stop in the superb weather conditions today, whatever you are giving them for breakfast, please pass recipe onto coaches. I must give a massive shout out to Olivia, Jackie and Mary, who kept the kids and coaches hydrated and covered in sunblock all day (It was like a Tanning salon at one stage) . Right off to do tactics for the competitions tomorrow, another great day planned, hope all the Warriors are having loads of Fun, See You All in Da morning

CRFC Summer Camp : Day Two Ok, so i guess the candles didnt work, as we were greeted with a few drops of rain this morning, did it dampen things, absouletly not, one of the kids was overheard saying, this is great, i can make a sliding tackle on the coaches , and he wasnt messing. Unfortunately no photos today as the kids cranked up the pressure and it was all hands to the pumps for the coaches. It always amazes me that as we go through each day , the skill levels keep going up, Hockey was taken to a new level today, with suggestions that a few of the kids, superglued the ball to their sticks ??? The coaches took quiet a hiding in the soccer from the smallies, who took to running under their legs, on the Rugby Skills, the coaches thru down the challenge on the Garryowens, and the spiral kicks, and taunted the kids by putting themselves as the targets, amazing how the kids all of a sudden got a 90% accuracy rate, Our smaller age groups were amazing at the cross bar challenge, and i want to call out Mellisa who kicked 8 out of 10 in the Crossbar challenge, and put some of our kicking coaches to shame, The main pitch was a hive of Rugby activity, with games all day long, and all kids showing the silky skills they are fine tuning, Anticipation is building towards The Cup Competions on Thursday and the "Kids V Coaches " on Friday . Despite the damp conditions, Coach MR Freeze , got anihalted again today. Coaches are starting to wain a little bit, but we have a few secret weapons up our Sleeves. Big Thanks to all our Helpers. Parents/Guardians, can you ensure you put sunblock on the kids, we will keep them topped up during the day. Now we are going to crawl off to lie down and recover See you all in the morning 😎😎😎

CRFC Summer Camp : Day One Well day one is over, It was great to see all the old faces and to welcome all our new kids as well. A lot of sleepy heads first thing this morning put the coaches under a false sense of security, as soon as kids hit the pitches they upped their game and the gauntlet was thrown down very early in the week, Apparently it rained for a short while, not that any of us noticed, to busy having FUN. (but keep lighting the candles for us ) some serious skills shown on the soccer and hockey pitches, a bit of fine tuning on the Rugby skills and kicking/passing stations culminating in unbelievable rugby matches, Kids had a ball, Coaches all still standing , bring on Day 2 plenty of rest, bed early, healthy brekkie and lets go again tomorrow . Reminder to all parents/gaurdians to ensure you sign the kids in and out , P.S. Happy Birthday to Coach Andy, hope you enjoyed the kids rendition of Happy Birthday 😁😁
