I believe that whatever is it you make, make it responsibly, put people and planet first. If you buy new things, buy from responsible makers, re-use as much as possible before replacing things. Value the things you buy, people who made them and the natural resources of this planet. This is why I joined @fashrevireland again this year and wrote a love-letter for the oldest piece of garment I own. 💕This cardigan belonged to my grandmother from Slovakia. I have never met her, as she died before I was born, but according to old photos and stories I look very much like her. My father has brought the jumper to the Czech Republic with him when he moved over to be with my mum. The jumper was living in the attic for a while, where I’ve found it a few years back and fell in love with it. It’s 100% wool, handmade and super cosy. It’s 50+ years old, but looks like new. People stop me on the streets asking where did I buy it.
