So our new Comhairle formed from our AGM in October, and we've been doing a fair bit of team bonding and getting to know each other and pizza eating in the meantime ! We get down to work this Saturday on our workplan for the year, but here are a few photos of what we've been up to at the AGM and since !

South Dublin Comhairle will be having our Annual General Meeting on October 20th, where we will be discussing the topic of Young People's Mental Health in South Dublin, and deciding on our workplan around this topic for 2017. If you would like to become a member of Comhairle, or simply come along on the 20th to give your opinion, please PM us and we will tell you what you need to do. Go People Power !

So summer is over and it's time to get back to Comhairle; yaaay! We've a busy couple of months ahead with planning for our AGM in October and the National Showcase in November. Our first meeting back is next Thursday 8th September in County Hall, Tallaght @ 16:30. We will be discussing our upcoming AGM. Hope to see all the members there ! :-)

We've set a date for the Comhairle Annual General Meeting ! It will be on Thursday 20th October. If you are aged 12-18 and interested in coming along and discussing the issues that matter to young people in South Dublin, please let us know. This counts as a day of school btw !! :-)

Foroige Active Citizenship Awards

We had a great day at the Foroige Active Citizenship Awards. Some great projects out there showing how much young people take part and care about their communities. We submitted our Hamper and 1916 Projects and got certificates recognising our work. Well done to all the winners !
