Tanager Ltd who bought out batches of Bank Of Scotland loans are now offering an option to some clients to purchase the loan for below what Tanager are owed. Clients would have to raise funds somehow via another mortgage or lending from family but it is a way for some clients to get a substantial reduction on overall mortgage amount owed. I know people love to hate so called "vulture funds" but some of the best deals we get here are from funds because they have a more commercial focus....
Great deal done today for one very happy client, house worth €180k, bank owed €290k and the bank have agreed to write off the shortfall of €110k for nothing if client surrenders the house...a very happy client...
