In particular, in young birds, the immune system is still very susceptible to germs, since the intestinal flora is still under development, and as such may not give full protection. In addition to the inhibition of pathogenic germs, pH-Control also protects the desired lactic acid bacteria (lactobacillus) and thus provides optimal conditions for a healthy intestinal flora.
