Colla pier runs in the 8.45 tomorrow night in Dundalk on the flat. She's stepping down in class compared to her runs over jumps in the last 2 years, also draw a line through her latest run in punchestown as she was found to be coming into season (menstrual cycle). Everything is right with her at the minute and off such a low mark in a low grade of race she should win if all goes well...so get your bets on now before the price is gone!!!

3 runners in Huntingdon, England today. Vodka society is an unraced 9 year old...he's in a hot contest and its going to a learning experience for him and we will learn a lot about him today. Colla pier is taking on top class mares on ground that probably suits some of them a bit better as its rained a lot but she always put in a great performance. Dalmarella dancer is a very talented mare and if she puts her best foot forward she could run into a place, but with a lack of a recent run and the soft ground we would be happy with a satisfactory effort and something to look forward to for summer. Robbie Dunne rides all three.

Just arrived in Huntingdon with colla pier for the hotly contested lady protectress mares chase, with 7 runners taking part. As usual she's been dismissed in the betting despite her rock solid graded form with preference being given to bigger yard runners! Despite this I expect her to run another massive race and if ground conditions stay to her liking she'll come there to the last on the bridle and to collect some valuable prize money and more black type!
8 time winner xinbama having his first day out on grass in over a year due to a massive back surgery in which they had to correct six vertebrae and also had a career threatening ligament injury...both of which he's fully healed and he'll now start the road to recovery and will be winnings more prizes during the summer
With the champion hurdle cutting up with the probable absence of Annie power and faugheen among others...some of the top class mares like vroum vroum and Apple's jade likely to bypass the mares hurdle in favour of the champion, Colla piers entry in the OLBG David Nicholson mares hurdle might look a lot more tempting come March time! What do people think? Should she take her chance?

Dalmarella dancer schooling under Robbie Dunne this morning...a purchase from the flat she was in a lot of pain with back problems and was refusing to race or even let a rider on her which we have hopefully sorted! She's a very talented mare and owned by a great bunch of patient owners so hopefully with luck we will have some good days out of her
We're on the big stage today in the William hill handicap hurdle at Ascot and taking on some big names with the likes of Scottish champion hurdle winner ch'tibello, Fred winter winner Diego du charmill and county hurdle 3rd sternrubin but Colla pier is coming into this in the form of her life and has everything in her favour today and although we're not expecting a win but she should definitely be right there at the business end!
