All timber is cut at source, sawn into planks and kilm-dried. This ensures stability and reduces the risk of cracking. The timber lengths are then selected, based on interesting grain patterns, colour consistency and overall aesthetic appeal. The beauty of this approach is when you've chosen your wood type and finish, you will know exactly where your frame came from, how old the tree was and where it had grown.
