2Point 0- Strength & Conditioning Facility Home of CrossFit UnLaois'd   A results oriented strength and conditioning facility that breeds success through fundamental fitness principals, hard-work, and a team environment.
The facility is a no frills, no thrills establishment who’s major concern is real world results.
If you are willing to learn, work, and grow . . . you won’t find anything else like it....

Training consists of scheduled group sessions focusing on Full Body Strength Work, with Core lifts in Squat, Bench & Deadlift. This is then followed by a Metabolic Conditioning Drills, with the dreaded 'finisher' at the end of each workout.

METABOLIC CONDITIONING EXPLAINED:

Metabolic conditioning or "metcon" refers to conditioning exercises intended to increase the storage and delivery of energy for any activity. Metabolic conditioning is conditioning the muscles to better use the fuel delivered to them by improving the efficiency of the different metabolic pathways. Health, studies have now shown that anaerobic conditioning may also condition the heart to a same level as aerobic training alone.

This is why high-intensity interval training is the principle method of metabolic conditioning.

FINISHER EXPLAINED:

Every once in a while, you need to bully your body into growing. Some call it "shocking" the body. Others call it "sending the grow or die message" to the body. This is where finishers come in. Whether you're a competitive athlete , or just a regular Joe who wants to have some fun, you gotta do finishers every once in a while.

These "finishers" are performed at the end of the routine and are usually total body workouts that leave you either puking or lying on the floor for minutes afterwards. These movements are also beneficial to your training by improving your mental toughness. They help you push through pain barriers during regular training by "training" your mind to cope with pain.

Finishers remind you that you can really give a lot more in your training and that you were just being a wuss. These movements also provide good cardiovascular work (you'll see after you finish one).

Check out this little guy! Cody is a regular in our box, because both his mum and dad are longtime members! We are firm believers of the saying 'monkey see money do'! Cody is a credit to both Claire and Trevor, but huge praise for the parents too, discipline, traits, and respect comes from the top down! https://instagram.com/p/BUC4VxjFG3x/
