Even with our diverse population, one would not expect to find an Indonesian restaurant in the heart of a small country village. But Ireland is full of surprises and the story of The Weaver's Inn goes back quiet a while.
It seems faith took a hand in 1973 when Paul Higgins, then 19, along with his cousin decided to see the world. They stuck a pin in the map and landed on Indonesia- where in a small town called Bandung in western Java, Paul spotted the beautiful Nenang walking through the park. Love won out and after three years of writing to one another Nenang came to Ireland and they married.
