Be part of this amazing experience with choreographer Sara Black Sara Black has worked as a choreographer, performer and collaborator prolifically in Australia and internationally over the past ten years. Her choreographic credits include; Value for Money (London premiere), Belvoir Theatre's Peter Pan (Ralph Myers) and Seventeen (Anne Louise Sarks), Fresh Produce (Rogue, Next Wave Festival Event). Assistant choreographic credits include Obsidian (Iceland Dance Company), Shane Warne the Musical (Eddy Perfect and Neil Armfield) and Woyzeck (Michael Kantor, Malthouse Theatre). Short works include; InAnitmate (Lucy Guerin inc Pieces for small spaces), Parental Guidance Recommended (Dancehouse) and TunnelVisioned (Short Film Dancehouse). As a founding member of Rogue dance collective Sara has co-created and choreographed new works 'Puck', 'Ocular Proof' and 'Persona'. Sara has performed and collaborated with The Australian Ballet, Lucy Guerin Inc and NYID (David Pledger). Over the past eight years she hasworked as a main collaborator and performer for Chunky Move (Gideon Orbazanek) and toured extensively internationally during this time. In 2008 she was awarded a Helpmann Award for best performer in a dance/physical theatre piece and has since been nominated for two Green Room awards in the same category. Sara has worked extensively with both Australian and international independent artists Narelle Benjamin, Wendy Houstoun, Erna Omarsdottir, Damien Jalet, Martin Del Amo, Bagryana Popov, Stephanie Lake, Carlee Mellow, Antony Hamilton andByron Perry and Cadi McCarthy. More recently she performed and collaborated with Protein dance (London) and worked with Felix Barret and Maxine Doyle on Punchdrunks latest production 'The Drowned man' in collaboration with the National Theatre of London.

The Edge - The Flipside Project Performances April 7th & 8th Maitland Regional Art Gallery Nomination Forms are now available to be involved in the Flipside Project. Forms no longer need to be signed by your school, but please talk to your school if you wish to be involved. Forms Available: enquiries@catapultdance.com.au Maitland Outreach - March 9th & 23rd Junior Intensive - March 15th & 17th , March 22nd & 24th Senior Intensive - March 27th - 31st 9am - 3pm - daily Rehearsal Sunday April 2nd - Maitland Gallery It has come to my attention that April 2nd, is the Ritz and Glitz Eisteddfod. If you wish to be involved in the project but are also involved in this Eisteddfod, please just let us know at Catapult. Dress Rehearsal & Performances: Friday 7th - 9am - Performance A bus is organised to pick students up at Catapult dance and take them to the Gallery Performance: Saturday 8th Students to arrive at the Gallery at 4.30pm

Juniors (aged 8 - 12) : 9.30am - 12pm Seniors: (13+): 1pm - 4pm When: Sunday March 12th Where: Catapult dance Choreographic Hub - 880 Hunter St, Newcastle Cost: Catapult Members: $30, non- members: $40 Register now: enquiries@catapultdance.com.au www.catapultdance.com.au Craig has performed with prestigious companies and choreographers such as The Royal New Zealand Ballet, Footnote Dance Company, Lyn Pringle, Paul Jendon, Douglas Wright Dance Company, Raewyn Hill’s Soapbox Productions and Michael Parmenter’s Commotion Dance Company. Craig’s debut in Australia was with Garry Stewart’s Thwack Dance Company in 1999. He was one of the dancer’s in Housedance, performed on the sails of the Sydney Opera House, 2000. He joined Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) when Garry Stewart began as Artistic Director and toured extensively internationally and throughout Australia in the two years he worked at ADT. While there he also worked with Kate Denborough on Misfit, a show premiering Powerskips. Craig returned to New Zealand to work with Douglas Wright on Inland: 2002 New Zealand International Festival. He has also choreographed two short works, Reincarnated and Tetrad. Craig joined Tasdance in 2002 until 2005. During this time he worked with Gideon Obarzanek’s Chunky Move and the Sue Healey Dance Company. Craig choreographed Pictures of a One Night Stand for New Breed as part of Sydney Opera House’s Spring Dance Festival in 2009, featuring Sydney Dance Company dancers. He has also taught Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year and choreographed It’s a Duet and restaged Tanja Liedtke’s To My Suite with Kristina Chan for their 2014 Graduation Performance, PPY14 Revealed.
