Description
This course is carefully designed for those who are interested in pursuing a career supporting people with an Intellectual Disability KARE in conjunction with KWETB deliver a training course to adults who wish to pursue a career in supporting people with an Intellectual Disability. This is a 48 week full time programme that consists of 3 days a week work placement in one of KARE's Local Services. After successful completion of this course you will have all the necessary skills and training along with a QQI Major Award in Intellectual Disability Practice.

CARE COORDINATOR NEEDED – OFFICE BASED POSITION IN NAAS. Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. We are looking for an energetic, motivated, organised and hardworking individual to work as part of our amazing team. Office experience is absolutely essential and the ability to prove you have the qualities that we’re looking for. A brief description of the role would be to ensure service user visits are allocated, to recruit suitable Care and Support Workers and to maintain appropriate office procedures. *Job Alert* KARE Frontline Adult Support Worker. 19.5h / week-Edenderry Duties will include supporting adults with intellectual disability to live in their community as well as meeting their daily needs, including personal care, recreation, individual education plans and to meet their goals. Assist staff with recreation, implementing individual education plans and supporting service users to achieve their goals. Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
