Mountmellick Men’s Shed was formed in 2014 and 40 members are currently attending. Men’s Sheds or Community Sheds are non-profit organisations that originated in Australia in 1995, to advise and improve the overall health of all males as there was little encouragement for men of all ages to socialize and discuss their feelings and wellbeing. They have expanded their remit to anyone regardless of age or gender. They normally operate a local level in communities promoting social interaction and they aim to increase quality of life for their members.

Go raibh míle maith agat to Hare's Corner (formerly the Mill) for hosting out annual Christmas Dinner last Friday night. A great night was had by all and the food and service was second to none!!
Go raibh maith agaibh to all thoes who attended the Parish's Annual Christmas Carol service last night and well done to all shed members who sang and/or played instruments. Comhghairdeas!
Just a reminder that our annual Christmas dinner will be at 8:00pm in the mill restaurant tonight. Also, practise for the carol service will be at 7:00pm in the church tonight
