Today saw the Irish Close Championship an ICTSA Registered NSK 100 Bird. There was a shoot off for the winner between Stephen Miller and Shaun Browne. Stephen was the victor winning the plaque, well shot Stephen. Category winners were Super Vets Carl Tate, Veterans Gilbert Hall, Ladies Linda Cleary, and Juniors Patrick Smith. Well done all. 1st in AA was Shiels Hessin, 1st in A was Shaun Browne, 2nd in A was Gordon Roulston, 3rd in A was Mark Sneddon, 1st in B was George Grier, 2nd in B was Patrick Smith and 3rd in B was Alistair Mc Cready.1st in C was PJ Reilly and 2nd in C was Gilbert Hall. Well shot everyone and a special thanks to all shooters who travelled and stayed over to shoot both shoots this weekend. Thank you for your continued support and our next shoot is our John Diver Memorial Shoot which is 100 NSK with perpetual trophies and badges for class winners and other spot prizes next Sunday 22nd April. High Gun today at Mulroy CPC was Shiels Hessin after a shoot off with Ged Smith. Both on 98 they shot another round of skeet and then pairs with Shiels the victor with +33. 1st in AA was Peter Monaghan 96 Joint 1st in A was Ged and Paul McGaughey 98 1st in B was Alistair Mc Cready finishing on 96 after a brilliant 75 straight. Joint 2nd in B was Shay Mc Curdy and Carl Tate 94. it was a father and son victory in C class with Father PJ Reilly in 1st place with 95 and son Jonathan Reilly in 3rd place with 90.
