Description
Montessori based Preschool Curriculum. Experience in teaching English as a second language to pre-schoolers. I have an Honours Degree (Level 8) in Early Childhood Care and Education from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. All classes will be small so each child's maximum potential is realised and no child is left behind. The curriculum is largely based on the Montessori model of Education.
Preschool Daily Routine:
9:30 - 10:00 Free Play
10:00 - 10:45 Active (self motivated) learning activities such as Montessori work, art activities, construction activities etc. This is based on Montessori's sensitive periods. Children have the freedom to choose their activities. the environment is prepared to optimise learning.
10:45 - 10:55 Movement activities that promote body awareness and attention (following instruction etc.)
10:55 - 11:20 Lunch and tidy up time
11:20 - 12:00 Active learning experiences
12:00 - 12:30 Circle time / Recap / Story time
PRICES:
For children availing of the ECCE Scheme (over 3 years and 3 months) : FREE
For children not availing of the ECCE Scheme : 15 Euro per session or 73 Euro per week.
