Moxie Coaching
Description
Kate Vaughan, MSW is a certified life coach who specializes in working with people who want to initiate or manage change in their lives. Kate helps clients in Ireland, the USA, and the UK to overcome challenges and regain a sense of personal power.
I've spent my whole career working with individuals and organizations to plan for, manage, and sustain change.
As a coach, I draw on my training and experiences to help you move from a place of ambiguity to clarity. If you're in a place of confusion or conflict, I can help you work through challenges you face and regain a sense of power in your life.
A little personal information about me:
I'm a Bostonian who lives just outside of Dublin, Ireland with my husband and two young children. I am a certified life coach from the Irish Lifecoach Institute. I also have a master's degree in social work (MSW) from Boston University.
I believe in not sweating the small stuff and having a sense of humor about the unpredictability of life.
My clients are from the US, Ireland and the UK. We work together in person or via Skype.

Can you enter into an unconditional relationship with that?" (Pema Chodron) This quick video of Tracee Ellis Ross reminds us of the power of self-acceptance.
10 ways to have a better conversation
Celeste Headlee's amusing TEDTalk, 10 Ways to Have a Better Conversation, reminds us of how often we are not present in our conversations. And how easy it is to change this if we try. Check it out! http://www.ted.com/talks/celeste_headlee_10_ways_to_have_a_better_conversation#t-689139
Brené Brown on Empathy
"Rarely can a response make something better. What makes something better is connection." I. LOVE. Brene Brown. Her research on vulnerability, courage, worthiness and shame has changed the way I see the world and interact with others. This short animation about the power of empathy is a nice reminder for a rainy Friday afternoon. xx https://youtu.be/1Evwgu369Jw
