Although the horse riding cenre was established in May 2008 it has been a working stable yard for more than 40 years. Passed down from generation to generation, the stable yard at Poulnagun, Lisdoonvarna County Clare Ireland has always been well-known for horse rearing and breeding.
From early age Peter, the owner, has worked alongside his father in caring for and rearing champion horses, some of which have found homes in mainland Europe and the USA.
After the passing of Peter's dad in October 2006, Peter was eager to continue in the tradition of his father and grandfather and keep the stable yard operating at its full potential. With its fantastic location, facilities and quality horses, Peter took the opportunity to open Mountain View Pony Trekking & Horse Riding Centre.
