Fantastic way to end our first year since restarting the society! Special thanks to the team at Coolmore Stud and Ballydoyle Racing for letting us see behind the scenes at their phenomenal facilities, and to Tipperary Racecourse and Go Racing for looking after us for an enjoyable evening of racing. Roll on next semester and a massive thank you to everyone for their support over the past few months!

Best of luck to Oliver Murphy in his training career! No doubt he'll be a huge success and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him on our trip to Gordon Elliott Racing last semester.

**Calling all University of Limerick horse racing fans!** Although numbers are very limited for our trip to Coolmore Stud, Ballydoyle Racing and Tipperary Racecourse this Thursday, a few spaces have arisen for new members to join us on what should be a superb outing! As a result of the very generous support of Go Racing, the cost of the outing has been halved in price to €22; with all travel included from UL, a buffet in a private suite at the races, a racecard for everyone and a guest tipster due to speak with us before racing. If you are interested in joining us on the day, please send us a PM with any questions/to secure your place!

Our group will journey to County Tipperary to visit Coolmore Stud before travelling to Ballydoyle Racing for a private drive-around tour of the home of champions. We'll round off the trip with an evening of National Hunt and Flat racing at Tipperary Racecourse, where our members will be treated to competitive racing and a meal in the High Chapparal Suite! Further details to follow - numbers are limited so be sure to contact us to secure your place!

Yorkhill looked a very special talent this week when winning at back to back Cheltenham Festivals! Here's some of our members with him and Patrick Mullins at the home of champions in Closutton earlier this season.

Tremendous result seeing Cause Of Causes win a different race at three successive Cheltenham Festivals - only Flyingbolt and Bob's Worth have done that before! Our members had the chance to meet Gordon Elliott's star on our visit to Cullentra House Stables in November.

A proud week to be Irish at the Cheltenham Festival and a very special four days for some of our members who made the journey to the Cotswolds. The dream is very much alive that we can venture to the greatest show on turf in the future as a group - only 359 days and counting to next year's Festival!
