Always nice to get good feedback - Gillian created a Christmas pud and I have to report it was incredibly good. We had a super meal of spiced beef, which was great . Along with our guests we all polished our plate. Each of us thought " well there's nothing will beat that " indeed thoughts of a pud made us conscious of fat? But we all politely agreed to partake of a little of something akin to some cake. The pud it was heated and placed in the bowls.Brandy butter and a dollop of cream were applied . Then accompanied by approving mms and ahhhs it was all polished off and the praises were cried. Well done Gilly another success. The highlight of the meal and nothing less. She may be an artist of beautiful cake creations but Gillian is destined to be a cook among Nations. We may be a little full having over indulged and crawled off to bed. But we'll walk it off tomorrow having been perfectly fed! Many thanks from all at Nantenan, especially Monty and Honey who approve of the pud too. Not that they got much.
