A new society to Mary I, the gold Gaisce Society aims to encourage students to sign up for the gold Gaisce award and challenge themselves in order to improve skills and gain new experiences. This is a page for anyone who is interested in becoming part of the society and undertaking the award or those who simply want to stay informed with the running's of the society and the progress of the gold award participants. Here's some pictures from our visit to Limerick Marine Search And Rescue Service. A handful of members visited this evening to see what the money we raise will be put towards. The work that Limerick Marine Search and Rescue do is amazing and invaluable to the people of Limerick city. Thank you to the guys there for the talk and tour and a great evening! 😄

This weeks meeting is on Tuesday where we will visit the Limerick Marine Search and Rescue base. We will be leaving from chaplaincy at 6. 😄

We are delighted to announce that our chairperson Cathal Hayes won best fresher at last nights MICS awards for his efforts in promoting Gaisce - The President's Award in the college and will be representing Mary I at the national BICS awards.
Barringtons Hospital Great Limerick Run
If anyone needs motivation for their physical activity or finds it easier to run with a group of people then this may be of interest they meet up in the college and you could also take part in the great Limerick run in the end, a really good goal to set! 😄🏃🏻🏅

We managed to collect over €124 between the raffle and the cakes. Well done to First year student Orla Clancy who won the School Placement hamper. Right in time as she undertakes her block week next week! 😄🎂🍰🏅
