Kilrush Community School
Description
Kilrush Community School Principal’s Message
Kilrush Community School was founded in 1992 as a result of the amalgamation of the
Mercy Convent Secondary School, the Christian Brothers’ School and the Vocational
Education Committee School.
From the outset, our aim in the school has been, and is, to ensure that a happy, secure
learning environment is in place for students of all abilities where they can achieve
their individual best.
Our school motto is “Ní neart go cur le chéile” or “There’s strength in co-operation”.
The school stands on the triumvirate of students, staff and parents working in co-
operation in order to deliver on our Mission Statement and Aims.
R Kirwin
Principal
