SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT Just to make people aware, It may look the more attractive option to travel your horses with unlicensed transporters who give rock bottom prices, that company's like ourselves who are fully compliant with both RSA ,and DOA , have an International Haulage license and the correct hire or reward insurance have no way to compete with . For example to provide a better and extra quality service we invested a large sum of money renovating an old racing yard in The Curragh which now allows us to house up to 30 horses at any one time, we built an office on site, and a wash area complete with drainage for the trucks. We have a maintenance contract in place where all of our fleet are serviced regularly, and as backup we have maintenance contracts in place across Europe with each brand of our fleet . We currently provide employment for ten people, and our company is growing all of the time, complete with a new subsidiary company of our brand , we will be hiring more staff to work on our site. If an incident does occur which requires the RSA and An Garda Siochana to get involved the non licensed transporter can be prosecuted, and fined up to €500,000 . A little known fact is that the person who hired the unlicensed transporter can also be fined and prosecuted.
