Well today Guys we got ourselves """ A NEW NATIONAL CHAMPION !!!! """ Today 10 of our Students took to the mats at the USKFI 2018 National Championships in Phibblestown !!! For some it was their 1st ever competition. .. Hollie ..went through rounds with great ability and go some great experience. .. As did Ruby ...she stepped out with great confidence and also got some valuable experience. .. And Megan. .....Miss Megan flew through rounds and went on to take a 3rd Place Bronze Medal in her 1st Ever Competition. ..massive well done to you Megan ....onwards and upwards from here 😉 Next our more experienced guys ie 2 or 3 comps under their belt ....took to the mats .. Nathan showed great confidence in his events and got great experience to carry forward ... Sarah stormed through round after round of Kata narrowly missing out on her place in the finals ..but by God she gave it one hell of a go !!!massive well done Sarah !!!!! Then Jamie was up gaining great experience in Kata ...but due to a slight error missed out on his Kumite Event .....no doubt you'll be back next time Jamie ...fighting and ready ...... Sean was up next ... and showed fantastic courage and composure against a seasoned competitor and still scored a point in a well fought match ....Well done Sean ....not easy by any means and I've seen many guys back down or shy away ...but not you ...you went straight in and gave it all !!!! Aaron ....Aaron our Aaron ...most definitely the biggest smile of the day ...this young man who also only in his 3rd Competition and in a really difficult event full of top class Karateka swept through them all into the Final where he took his 2nd place Silver Medal and so well deserved. ...this guy gives it all ...always puts in everything in Class ..and this is how it pays off my friends ...Massive Congratulations Aaron Next ...Tori ......our more seasoned lady .....took herself away 2 Bronze medals for her 2 events. ..as always Tori shows strength and determination that just keeps getting better ...well done Tori ..the kids look up to you ...keep it going. .... AND FINALLY OUR NEW NATIONAL CHAMPION MASTER NOAH SMITH !!!!!!! WHOOP WHOOP !!! What can we say .....this little dude at the tenderage of 9 shows more heart ....determination and courage than most grown ups !!!!!! He never misses a class .....never let's up in class ....always gives 110%into everything. ....and today my friend that paid off ..... He went through round after round in Kata to make the Final where he went in and gave it all 1 more time and walked out National Champion !!!!!! Massive Congratulations Buddy ....he also bagged himself a 3rd place bronze in Kumite !!!! Today our little club Shone .......and myself and Sensei Pat couldn't be any prouder !!!!!

Wishing all our guys the very best of luck in The USKFI Nationals tomorrow. ... Myself and Sensei Pat attended the Referees and Judges Course yesterday. ... We got a great bit of practice in and got some valuable knowledge in the lead up to the forthcoming Nationals! !!!!! Many thanks to the USKFI as always. ... OSS !!!!!!
